Assessments

The appropriate assessment can help leaders better understand themselves, their colleagues, and their organization.

ImpaQ has carefully selected assessments to incorporate into their services. Assessments are best used as part of an overall development initiative. Using assessments as independent activities is not generally recommended and may have unintended negative results. We work with you to make certain that the selected assessment is designed for your desired purpose and that you receive meaningful, actionable feedback.

Assessments are designed to help you better understand yourself – not to “label” or “put you in a box.”

Center for Creative Learning (CCL):

360-degree feedback is a method of systematically collecting opinions about an individual’s performance from peers, direct reports, the boss, the boss’s peers — along with people outside the organization, such as customers. With this approach the person sees a more complete picture of themselves.

The Leadership Circle (TLC):

The Leadership Circle Profile is the only 360-degree profile that measures both competency and underlying assumptions and it does so in two primary leadership domains: Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies.

Korn Ferry – Lominger Leadership Architect:

Competencies provide a common language to define the kind of behavior that will lead to individual and organizational success. The Lominger Leadership Architect lets organizations identify competencies that are necessary for their organization and can be used to assess employees’ levels in the defined competencies.

Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI):

The MBTI assessment has been used for decades to help measure individuals’ psychological preferences including how one receives information, the basis for decision making, and whether they “talk to think or think to talk.” Understanding one’s preference, their colleague’s preferences, and recognizing the value of each preference can be life changing.

Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI):

The OCAI (© Kim Cameron) is a validated tool for assessing organizational culture. Based on the Competing Values Framework it is one of the most used and useful frameworks in business.
